Accessibility.
What we have done, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

This statement applies to lamgeospatial.com, run by Lane Aerial Media Ltd. We want the site to be usable by as many people as possible, including anyone using a screen reader, a keyboard rather than a mouse, magnification, or a browser set to larger text.
What we have done.
The site is built as plain HTML with meaningful headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through it by structure rather than by guesswork. Every page starts with a skip link so you can jump past the navigation.
Everything can be operated from the keyboard, including the services menu and the mobile navigation, and focus is visible as you move through the page. Images carry text descriptions of what they show. Text can be resized or zoomed without content being lost behind other content.
The point cloud animation on the home page respects your system's reduced motion setting: if you have asked your device to limit animation, it renders as a still image instead. Nothing on the site flashes, auto-plays audio, or moves without you asking it to.
The site uses a dark background with light text throughout, chosen so that body text and interface elements meet normal contrast expectations.
What we know is not perfect.
Stated honestly rather than claimed away.
We have not had the site independently audited against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, so we do not claim a conformance level. What follows is what we know about rather than the result of a formal test.
The enquiry form is provided by a third party and embedded on our contact section. Its markup is not under our control, so we cannot guarantee its accessibility. If it causes you difficulty, you do not need to use it: phone, WhatsApp and email all reach us directly and are given on every page.
Some decorative imagery behind headings is there for atmosphere and carries no information. It is marked so assistive technology can ignore it, but on a slow connection it may briefly affect contrast while loading.
Our PDF documents have not been checked for screen reader tagging. If you need the content of any document in another format, ask and we will send it as plain text, large print, or whatever suits you better.
Tell us about a problem.
If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, please tell us. Email [email protected] or call 07533 769 373. We will reply within five working days.
Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and if you can, which browser or assistive technology you were using. We will fix what we can and tell you plainly if something will take longer, along with another way to get what you needed in the meantime.
We will also provide information from this site in another format on request, at no charge. That includes our quotations, terms and survey reports.
